A guide
This guide will walk you through the webpage design process, step by step—so there are no surprises along the way.
Okay, not that type....
Step 1:
Things to keep in mind when you start the process.
This is more for you, than me.

What's your website goals?

-
More bookings?

-
Sell products?

-
Show off your portfolio?

-
Collect email signups?

Who is your target audience

-
Who do you want to attract?

-
What do they care about?

-
What vibe speaks to them?

What features do you need?

-
Online booking or a contact form?

-
A blog?

-
A shop or product page?

-
Email signups or automation?

-
Instagram feed?
Step 2:
The hard part. Getting your stuff together.
AND Talking to another person.
First lets talk about your timeline and budget and see if that aligns.
Keep in mind: A basic landing page starts at $300 and takes about 2 days.

Additional time and money are required for having multiple pages, booking features, large galleries, and lots of animations.

It helps to look at other pages you like and include them. So I can get an idea of what you like and your expectations.
I know you have a lot of ideas for your webpage and if there are any features/ looks you can't do without please let me know in advance!

And to follow that - we need to discuss how involved in the process you want to be. Some trust is required for this process.

Some people want to hand everything off. Others want to be involved every step of the way. Knowing your preference helps us both win.
Please try to cover the answers to these questions in your initial email. Once we’ve covered the basics, I’ll send over a detailed form to gather the specifics.
Now, What content do you already have?!

-
Photos (of you, your products, your work)
-
Your logo and brand colors
-
Written content (like your bio, service descriptions, etc.)
-
Testimonials, FAQs, or anything people always ask
-
Price lists, hours of operations, phone numbers, any social media you want linked.

Don't worry I have a form for this to help you organize it.

Step 3:
The fun part.
Building the website.
You're almost off the hook. I will be reaching out during this time to gather any information that may help build your website.
I might pop in with a couple of follow-ups, but the faster you reply, the quicker I can bring your site to life!
You get up to 3 revisions Takes notes from all pages. Then, I can make these corrections right away.
Step 4:
Wait there's more?
After?!
Well, first I want to thank you for trusting me with your website
And secondly, I want to ask you for a review!

Besides that! Are you going to need site maintenance?
For monthly maintenance we can work on a package deal
For a one off - feel free to reach out with your concerns!

Lastly! do you know anyone else in need of a website!
Please send them my way!
Word of mouth goes a long way for us small business owners!
